Your guide spent his youth skiing at Red Mountain in Rossland at a time when hometown girl Nancy Greene won a Gold Medal in the 1967 Winter Olympics. Steve joined what was the inaugural chapter of Nancy Greene Little League and advanced to the Columbia Valley Racers. But university, an exploration career, travel and family evolved little time for skiing.

Having left corporate Vancouver, Steve is now an On-Hill Trainer for the Canadian Ski Patrol and works as the Professional Ski Patrol/Risk Manager at Crystal Mountain Resort near Kelowna.

Steve has combined his love of skiing with his professional touring experience into a consulting service that can take you to some of the best skiing in the province.
