Tour Booking and Cancellation Policy

  • All trip tariffs are quoted and payable in Canadian dollars and do not include 7% Canadian Goods and Services Tax (GST). This tax is refundable to international visitors on leaving the country.
  • Full payment is required prior to departure unless applied to company accounts arrange previously with GeoQwest Excursions Ltd. (GeoQwest).
  • Payment may be made with Visa, MasterCard, American Express or recognized Travelers Cheques.
  • Multi-day tours require a $500 deposit at the time of booking with full payment due 30 days prior to departure.
  • Multi-day tours booked within 30 days prior to departure are payable in full at time of booking.
  • All funds are refundable on client cancellation after initial booking minus a $100 administration fee up to and including 30 days prior to date of departure.
  • All funds are refundable on client cancellation minus the $500 deposit 29 days to 16 days inclusive prior to date of departure.
  • No funds are refundable 15 days to 0 days inclusive prior to the date of departure.
  • Group day booking require a 10% non-refundable down payment.
  • GeoQwest Excursions Ltd. reserves the right to cancel any trip prior to departure date for reasons that may include but are not restricted to unforeseen or unexpected equipment failure, adverse climatic conditions, forest or road closures, acts of war, terrorism or civil unrest or other human or natural occurrences beyond GeoQwest's control.
  • Any trip cancelled by GeoQwest as in the clause above will result in 100% of funds paid being refunded.
  • Any trip cancelled en route by GeoQwest will result in a refund prorated to the days not traveled.
  • Any trip cancelled by the client or because of the actions of the client will result in no refund.
  • Any costs associated with a medical evacuation will be the responsibility of the client evacuated. No trip refund will be granted to the evacuee or family members traveling with the evacuee. Others clients on the trip will be refunded their tariff(s) if it is mutually agreed that the trip shall not continue.
  • GeoQwest reserves the right to cancel any trip or remove individuals where participant(s) do(es) not follow the guides direction including but not restricted to entering underground openings, traversing unsafe terrain, harassing wildlife or domestic animals, seatbelt rules, time constraint issues. Refunds will not be awarded to offenders but will be negotiated with remaining clients should the trip be cancelled for all.
  • GeoQwest will not be held liable for costs beyond those paid to the company in the event of a cancellation including but not restricted to airfares, other ground transportation, hotels, agents fees or other costs associated with the cancelled tour.
