GeoQwest Excursions Ltd. changed it's name in autumn 2006 to GeoQwest Explorations Ltd. and now focus on mineral exploration out of our Kelowna office in the Okanagan Valley.

Only after we had completed the registered limited company name change did we realize the similarity with Geoquest Consulting Ltd from Vernon, a mere 40 kilometers away in the Okanagan Valley.

Both companies are legally entitled to the names. But of course the similarity of name and business can lead to confusion.
