On a travel budget or wanting more wilderness adventure? Add Light Camping to your tour! Save on accommodation costs as well as adding to your wilderness experience! Light camping utilizes the support of British Columbia's backcountry operators to optimize wilderness experience. The equipment, time and inconvenience of full meal preparation while maintaining off pavement mobility has resulted in GeoQwest's Light Camping option
where the route is planned to pass towns, ranches and/or resorts for dinner while carrying only a minimum amount of food for light breakfast and lunch. As evening approaches, we head for the forests to find a secluded spot to pitch our tents. Breakfast will consist of a light meal augmented with some campfire preparation. Lunch and snacks enroute will be supplied by a fully stocked cooler in the vehicle. Wherever possible, your tour will include meals taken at distinctive or unique backcountry facilities with an emphasis on local flair and flavour.
