You've read and heard all about British Columbia from the Rockies and the Coast Mountains to the Columbia and Fraser Rivers.
You've dug deeper and know of Telegraph Creek, the Omenica and the Chilcotin Plateau. Your tired of typical tourism that leads you to what the tour
company thinks you want to see. And, you've decided you want to see it all!
Welcome to the GeoQwest British Columbia Trophy Tour.
This tour is for the true adventurer. You will spend 15 days traveling with a GeoQwest personal backroads guide who has been through every region of the province and who
will take you places few visitors have had the priviledge to experience.
The itinerary is kept loose to take advantage of local knowledge, spontaneous opportunity and your sense of exploration. There may be a ranch owner willing to put the
group up at his ranch, an mineral exploration camp willing to show how the project is progressing, a native community having a festival or a forestry camp with extra
room for visitors. Overnight plans can be made on the road to give the greatest freedom possible.
We visit areas without a specific route in mind. This will develop as we travel BC's estimated 400,000 kilometres of backroad, all fair game for this tour. The GeoQwest truck will be loaded with road food, extra fuel and overnight equipment should the road takes us beyond solid walls for the night. In the Omenica region of the province, the backroad network is the most remote in North America.
No other tour company in British Columbia offers the freedom of travel and depth of Canadian culture than what you'll experience on the
